About Us

Leigha Marina is a Salt Lake City, Utah based children's media brand making original music and animated nursery rhymes for young kids. The brand started in 2016, and the official YouTube channel launched in 2017 to introduce the animated penguin characters.

Every song comes with its own cartoon video. The music includes upbeat playtime tracks as well as quiet lullabies for bedtime, available on YouTube and major streaming platforms.

Our History

Leigha Marina began in a small office in October 2016. Our founder, Dalibor Menicanin, a single parent and full-time worker, started this journey while caring for his newborn daughter. Balancing a graphic design business and parenting, Dalibor initially created party invitation cards and children's illustrations as a side project.

Inspired by his illustrations, Dalibor launched a YouTube channel featuring cartoon nursery rhymes less than a year after starting. Today, Leigha Marina has grown into a full-fledged production company, known for its unique blend of music and animation. Our content is available on various streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Tidal, Amazon Music, and VEVO.

In February 2022, Leigha Marina achieved a significant milestone when YouTube recognized our channel for exceptional children's content, original music, and 2D cartoon animations, earning us the Silver Play Button. In November 2023, Snapchat also honored us for our song "The Coconut Song," acknowledging it as the most popular song on the platform that month. By April 2024, our dedication and growth led us to surpass one million subscribers on YouTube, resulting in the prestigious YouTube Gold Play Button award. These milestones reflect our commitment to creating engaging and educational content for children, celebrated across multiple platforms for our innovative approach to music and animation.

Our Brand

Leigha Marina is named in honor of Dalibor's daughter, who inspired this creative venture. Our brand is dedicated to fostering a love of music and learning in children. We believe in the power of storytelling through music and animation to captivate young minds and encourage educational growth. Our content is designed to be entertaining, educational, and enriching, reflecting our commitment to quality and creativity.

Our little penguin characters are more than cute figures; they embody children's playful and curious natures, guiding them through fun adventures and meaningful lessons. By integrating vibrant animations with catchy tunes, we aim to create a brand that resonates with children and parents, making learning an enjoyable experience for the entire family.

Our Mission

At Leigha Marina, we are committed to combining music and animation to create engaging, educational, and entertaining experiences for children. Our objective is to inspire joy and learning through every song and animation we produce.

You can explore our music and videos on various streaming platforms and join us in making childhood a magical and enriching experience.

Meet Bebo, our logo. Bebo is Leigha's baby nickname, given to her by her dad. It means baby. Bebo was designed to represent Leigha as a baby, and the hair sticking up in the air represents the hairstyle that Leigha had naturally for the first year of her life. The main difference is that Bebo has blue eyes, while Leigha's eyes are brown.

Meet Princess Leigha. This version of Leigha was designed to represent a bit older version of Leigha. As a toddler, Leigha loved to dress up and show her girly side from an early age, so we have put together a few illustrations to reflect her personality. In this version, we have designed her eyes in brown to reflect her actual eye color.
