About This Song

Beautiful Eyes Lullaby is a soft and gentle bedtime lullaby about Mommy Penguin and Daddy Penguin getting baby Lono ready for sleep. As night falls, Mommy Penguin stands by the open window with Lono in her arms, looking out at the evening sky.

Mommy Penguin tells Lono that he has beautiful eyes. They shimmer with love for the whole world to see, and they are a precious sight. Daddy Penguin joins them, and the three snuggle close together. Daddy Penguin tells Lono that he has beautiful eyes too, as sweet as a dream and a soft melody.

Then Mommy Penguin and Daddy Penguin lay Lono down in his cozy crib, next to his brown teddy bear and soft pillows. Lono looks up at them with his big green eyes as they wish him sweet dreams.
