Bedtime Lullaby

Bright Lights Lullaby

Leigha Marina Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs, Vol. 3 • Track 2 • Album released February 8, 2023

Bright Lights Lullaby by Leigha Marina is a gentle bedtime song about baby Lono getting ready to sleep on a quiet winter night. Lono looks out the window and sees the dark sky, the moon and the twinkling stars, which all mean it is bedtime. It is time to turn off the bright lights, so Lono says goodnight, hugs his teddy bear and closes his sleepy eyes.

🎵 Song Lyrics

Look out the window
It's dark outside
What does that mean
It's my bedtime

Look out the window
I see the moon
What does that mean
I should be sleeping soon

Time to close those bright lights
Time to close those sleepy eyes
See you tomorrow
Goodnight

Time to close those bright lights
Time to close those sleepy eyes
3,2,1, goodnight

Look out the window
And see the stars
What does that mean
Maybe you'll see mars

Look out the window
The pretty dark sky
Maybe I can dream
About learning to fly

Time to close those bright lights
Time to close those sleepy eyes
See you tomorrow
Goodnight

Time to close those bright lights
Time to close those sleepy eyes
3,2,1, goodnight

Time to close those bright lights
Time to close those sleepy eyes
3,2,1, goodnight

About This Song

Bright Lights is a soft and gentle bedtime lullaby about baby Lono getting ready to sleep on a quiet winter night. Lono lies in his cozy crib under a warm blanket, holding his teddy bear close. He looks out the window and sees that it is dark outside. That means it is his bedtime.

Snow falls softly past the window. Lono looks out again and sees the moon. That means he should be sleeping soon. It is time to turn off those bright lights and close those sleepy eyes. Lono says goodnight and see you tomorrow. Three, two, one, goodnight.

Lono looks out the window one more time and sees the stars twinkling in the sky. Maybe he will even see Mars up there. The dark sky looks so pretty. Maybe tonight Lono can dream about learning how to fly.

The bright lights go off, and Lono hugs his teddy bear tight. He closes his sleepy eyes and drifts off to sleep in his warm crib.
