🎵 Song Lyrics

There once was a boy
Who had a dream
He always wanted
To climb the tallest tree

He said I can do it
I'll reach for the sky
But he couldn't do it
No matter what he tried

Don't be afraid
To ask for help today
Teamwork makes the dream work
With friends you'll a way

He tried and tried again
But kept on falling down
He sat there for a while
And began to look around

He saw a friend nearby
Playing on the swing
He said would you please help me
Climb the tallest tree

Don't be afraid
To ask for help today
Teamwork makes the dream work
With friends you'll a way

She said I'd love to help
And then he helped her too
They sat up on the tree
What a crazy view

Don't be afraid
To ask for help today
Teamwork makes the dream work
With friends you'll a way

Don't be afraid
To ask for help today
Teamwork makes the dream work
With friends you'll a way

About This Song

The Teamwork Song is a cheerful song about asking for help and helping someone in return. Bebo the penguin wants to climb a tall tree in a snowy playground. He stands beside its trunk and looks up at the branches, ready to try. A swing and a slide sit nearby, with village houses across the snowy hills.

Bebo reaches up and tries to climb, but he cannot get as high as he wants. He tries again and again, only to fall back down. After several tries, he sits in the snow at the foot of the tree. His face looks sad as he pauses and looks around the playground.

Nearby, Mia is playing on the swing. Bebo walks over and asks her to help him climb the tree. She is happy to help, and the two little penguins return to the trunk together. This time, Bebo does not have to keep trying on his own. Mia helps him climb, and he helps her too.

Once Bebo reaches a branch, he leans down and reaches for Mia’s wing to help her up. Soon they are both sitting high in the tree, surrounded by branches covered in snow. They smile at each other and enjoy the view of the village below. The repeated chorus reminds them that they can ask for help and find a way together.
