Leigha Marina Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs, Vol. 1

Released February 08, 2022 • 25 Songs

This is where it all started, with Bebo, his penguin family and many of Leigha Marina's earliest songs. The little penguins learn colors and count to ten, build a snowman, clean up their toys, ride in a big red fire truck and visit Grandpa's house. Halloween and Christmas songs join the fun, and five soft lullabies, including three without lyrics, help babies drift off to sleep.

About This Album

Leigha Marina's songs were only on YouTube for years before the first album came out, and this one brings many of those early favorites together in one place. Counting songs are a big part of it. In Five Little Penguins Went Out One Day, the penguin chicks wander off one by one until the family is together again, and Five Little Penguins Sliding On The Snow has each little penguin getting into trouble as they slide, jump and climb. Ten Little Penguins and Counting Numbers One To Ten count up and back down again.

Colors get three songs of their own. Paint The Rainbow, Red Is A Cherry and The Bow I Have Is Red match each color to things kids already know, like cherries, green leaves and gray rain clouds. Family songs fill much of the rest, with I Love You Daddy, Song About Family and Let's Go To Grandpa's House, where the penguins go fishing with Grandpa and bake cookies with Grandma. Fire Truck and Firefighters are for every kid who loves a big red engine.

The album also has a few holiday songs, with two for Halloween and Christmas Time for writing letters to Santa and decorating the tree. The last five tracks are lullabies. Sweet Dreams Lullaby and Rest My Baby Lullaby have soft, gentle words, and the three Soft And Relaxing Baby Lullaby Without Lyrics tracks are calm music with no singing at all.
