🎵 Song Lyrics

Here comes the fire truck, fire truck, fire truck
Here comes the fire truck driving down the street
Sitting inside the fire truck, such a cool fire truck
Sitting inside the fire truck, it's so much fun

What sounds do fire trucks make beep beep beep beep beep beep
What sounds do fire trucks make aaeeeoooaaeeeooo

I want to ride in the fire truck, fire truck, fire truck
I want to ride in the fire truck, let's all go together

Fire trucks are so big, so red, so long
Fire trucks are so big, so red, so long
I will wear my uniform, fireman uniform
I will wear my uniform in the fire truck

What sounds do fire trucks make beep beep beep beep beep beep
What sounds do fire trucks make aaeeeoooaaeeeooo

Walk out of the fire truck, grab the hose, grab the hose
Take the hose and hold it, spray the water, spray spray spray

What sounds do fire trucks make beep beep beep beep beep beep
What sounds do fire trucks make aaeeeoooaaeeeooo

About This Song

Fire Truck first came out on the Leigha Marina YouTube channel in April 2021. In February 2022 it became track 8 on Vol. 1, our very first official album. It is a favorite for kids who stop everything when a fire truck goes by.

The song gives them the three things they love most. It asks what sounds a fire truck makes and answers with beeps and a siren kids can copy. It describes the truck as big, red and long. Then it ends with the firefighters walking out, grabbing the hose and spraying water.

Ways to Play Along

Siren game: sing the siren part high and low, and let your child copy you.

Describing words: hold up a toy truck and ask. Is it big? Is it red? Is it long?

Pretend play: put on a hat or a raincoat as a uniform, sit in a laundry basket fire truck and spray a pretend hose during the hose verse.

Cool down after: this is a high energy song, so follow it with a quiet story or a calm song.

For Kids Who Are Scared of Sirens

Some toddlers love fire trucks but cover their ears when a real one drives by. Singing the siren sound at home, softly and in a safe place, can make the real sound feel more familiar. When you hear a siren outside, you can say, there goes the fire truck to help someone.
