🎵 Song Lyrics

Bob the little cricket
Was so afraid to sing loud
Bob the little cricket
Was so afraid to sing loud

Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got
Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got

No I can't do it
I'm too afraid
I don't dare to do it

Don't be scared little cricket
We will love you the same
Don't let fear stop you dreaming
You don't have to feel shame

Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got
Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got

So Bob took a deep breath
And with all his courage
Began to sing out loud

Bob the little cricket
Never again was afraid
To do what he likes best
And share it with all his friends

Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got
Sing your song little cricket
We wanna hear what you've got

That was fun
Let's do it again

About This Song

Bob the Little Cricket is a sweet and cheerful song about a shy little cricket named Bob and his penguin friends Bebo, Nora and Mia. Bob lives in a big field full of tall, colorful flowers. He loves to sing, but he is so afraid to sing out loud.

Bebo, Nora and Mia find Bob sitting in the grass. They ask him to sing his song, because they want to hear what he has got. Bob looks down and frowns. He says no, he cannot do it, because he is too scared to try.

Nora and Mia lean in close to Bob. They tell him not to be scared, because they will love him just the same. He should not let fear stop him from dreaming, and he does not have to feel shame.

Bob takes a deep breath and, with all his courage, starts to sing out loud. Bebo, Nora and Mia listen and smile. Bob is never afraid again to do what he likes best and share it with all his friends. He hops high over the flowers, singing happily, and wants to do it all again.
