🎵 Song Lyrics

A new kid moved in down the street
He looked kinda funny from his head to his feet
He sat outside his home drawing pictures all alone

Little penguin was playing outside
He saw the new kid on the other side
He quickly thought he knew everything that kid could do

Don't judge a book by it's cover
Don't judge the looks of another
You might be surprised
Once you see what's on the inside
So don't judge a book by it's cover

He was curious what the kid could draw
Took a peak and couldn't believe what he saw
He'd never seen or heard of anyone who could draw better

Don't judge a book by it's cover
Don't judge the looks of another
You might be surprised
Once you see what's on the inside
So don't judge a book by it's cover

Now they are two best friends
They draw together and it never ends
So when you see someone new they might be the friend for you

Don't judge a book by it's cover
Don't judge the looks of another
You might be surprised
Once you see what's on the inside
So don't judge a book by it's cover

About This Song

Don't Judge A Book by Its Cover is a cheerful song about getting to know someone instead of judging how they look. A new penguin moves into a log cabin in the snowy village, bringing an orange suitcase. He wears large round glasses and spends time outside his home drawing and painting alone. Bebo the penguin notices him while playing nearby with Okee, Nora, and Mia.

At first, Bebo thinks he already knows what the new neighbor can do just by looking at him. But he becomes curious about the picture on the easel. The little penguins watch from behind the wooden fence and peek around the corner of the cabin while their neighbor keeps painting.

When Bebo gets close enough to see the picture, he is surprised by how well the new penguin can draw. The painting shows a snowy village with cabins, trees, and mountains. Okee, Nora, and Mia gather around the easel too, looking at the artwork beside Bebo. What they see is very different from what Bebo first expected.

Bebo and his new neighbor become best friends and paint together outside the cabin. Each holds a brush as they work on a picture of the two of them standing side by side in the snow. The other little penguins join them around the easel, sharing the moment as the two friends enjoy making art together.
