🎵 Song Lyrics

Do not open the door
When you're at home alone

Do not open the door
Strangers are not welcome

Just be careful
And leave it to adults
Cause what to do
They'll always know

Knock knock who's there
You are not my friend
I don't know you
You can't come through

Who's at the door
Oh i don't know
Who's at the door
I call adults

Do not open the door
When you're at home alone

Do not open the door
Strangers are not welcome

Just be careful
And leave it to adults
Cause what to do
They always know

Knock knock who's there
You are not my friend
I don't know you
You can't come through

Who's at the door
Oh i don't know
Who's at the door
I call adults

Great job my little ones
Home is a safe place
And it must always stay like that

Yes mommy

Home is a safe place
For our family
And just like that
It must always be

About This Song

Don't Open the Door to Strangers is a song about keeping the door closed when an unknown visitor knocks. Mommy Penguin gets ready to leave their wooden home, carrying a pink bag with a heart on it. Bebo the penguin, Makaio, Okee, Nora, and Mia stay inside. Before she goes, Mommy reminds the little penguins not to open the door to strangers and to call an adult for help.

The little penguins play together in their bright yellow room. Makaio and Okee pass a colorful ball while Bebo, Nora, and Mia gather near the door. Outside, a fox in a black and white striped outfit comes to the house. He knocks and tries to get them to let him in.

Bebo is unsure who is outside, and the little penguins stop to think about what Mommy told them. They do not know the visitor, so they tell him he cannot come in. Instead of handling the visit on their own, they call an adult. The repeated words return to keeping the door closed and leaving the decision to grownups.

The fox stays outside the closed door, looking angry that he cannot get in. When Mommy is back with the little penguins, she praises them for remembering what to do. They gather around her in the room and agree that their home should stay a safe place for the family.
