🎵 Song Lyrics

Get ready for the weather look how it can change
Get ready for the weather it's different everyday
In the sun snow or rain
We'll be ready either way

The polar bear is in the sunny weather
What does he need to feel better
Hmmm a sweater no
A rain coat no
How about sun glasses yes

Get ready for the weather look how it can change
Get ready for the weather it's different everyday
In the sun snow or rain
We'll be ready either way

The kangaroo is in the rainy weather
What does she need to feel better
Hmm sun glasses no
A sweater no
How about a rain coat yes

Get ready for the weather look how it can change
Get ready for the weather it's different everyday
In the sun snow or rain
We'll be ready either way

The frog is in the snowy weather
What does he need to feel better
Hmm a rain coat no
Sun glasses no
How about a warm sweater yes

Get ready for the weather look how it can change
Get ready for the weather it's different everyday
In the sun snow or rain
We'll be ready either way

About This Song

Get Ready for the Weather is a fun and playful learning song about Bebo the penguin and his friends Mia and Okee helping animal friends dress for the weather. The weather can change every day. Mia shivers in the cold snow, Okee stands in the rain, and Bebo squints in the hot, bright sun. Whether it is sunny, snowy or rainy, the friends want to be ready either way.

First, they meet a polar bear sitting on the ice by the sea on a very sunny day. The sun is too bright for him. Mia offers him a warm sweater, but that is not right. Okee offers a raincoat, but that is not right either. Then the friends give him a pair of yellow star sunglasses, and the polar bear feels much better.

Next, a kangaroo hops in a green field on a rainy day. Sunglasses and a sweater will not help her, so the friends give her a yellow raincoat to keep her dry.

Then a little frog sits on a snowy street in town, cold and shivering. A raincoat and sunglasses are not what he needs. The friends give him a warm pink sweater and hat, and he stays cozy in the snow. Bebo, Mia and Okee walk down the snowy street in sunglasses, a warm sweater and a raincoat.
