Leigha Marina Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs, Vol. 10

About This Album

Almost every playtime song on this album teaches something kids use every day. Get Ready for the Weather mixes things up on purpose, with a polar bear in the sunshine, a kangaroo in the rain and a frog in the snow, and kids help pick the right clothes for each one. Let's Eat Healthy takes the penguins to the farmers market for yellow bananas, red apples, green spinach and orange carrots, and still leaves room for a piece of cake once in a while. In the Sharing Song, the penguins split cookies, trade toys and cheer up a sad friend with a smile.

Scary Spider is a fun way to talk about fears. The penguins panic when a spider shows up in the kitchen, the bedroom and the backyard, until they see it only wants to play hide and seek. Playtime at the Water Park packs swimsuits, goggles and sunscreen for a day of rafts and water slides.

Both lullabies end the day with Mommy Penguin. In Hush Little One Lullaby, she reads a story to her two babies and tucks them in, and This Sweet Night Lullaby has her holding her little one close and promising to always be there.
