🎵 Song Lyrics

Hush a bye don't you weep
Mama's here you're safe and sweet
The stars above are shining bright
Sleep tight my little light

Close your eyes my little one
The day is done the night's begun
Let your dreams take you away
To a land where you can play

Hush a bye don't you weep
Mama's here you're safe and sweet
The stars above are shining bright
Sleep tight my little light

The moon is high the world is still
Will we sleep yes we will
Tomorrow will bring the sun out
Nice and bright without a doubt

Hush a bye don't you weep
Mama's here you're safe and sweet
The stars above are shining bright
Sleep tight my little light

About This Song

Hush a Bye My Little Light Lullaby is a soft and gentle bedtime lullaby about Mommy Penguin rocking baby Lono to sleep on a quiet, snowy night. Mommy Penguin holds Lono close in her arms by the window as soft snowflakes fall outside. She tells him not to cry, because Mama is here and he is safe and sweet.

The day is done and the night has begun. Mommy Penguin lays Lono down in his cozy crib next to his teddy bear and soft pillows. She tells him to close his eyes and let his dreams take him away to a land where he can play.

The stars above are shining bright, and the smiling moon glows high in the sky outside the window. The world is still and quiet. Tomorrow the sun will come out, nice and bright.

Mommy Penguin leans over the crib and watches her little light. Lono's eyes grow heavy, and he falls fast asleep.
