This album is all about the little moments of a child's everyday life. In the Ice Cream Song, the 5 little penguins hear the ice cream truck on a hot day and pick vanilla, chocolate, mint chip and strawberry, with a reminder to eat slowly so they don't get a brain freeze. In The Bath Song, baby Lono does not want a bath at first, then has so much fun with the shampoo, the sponge and the bubbles that Mommy Penguin can't get him out. The Boo Boo Song covers the little falls that happen while playing basketball, riding bikes, jumping rope and swimming. In I Want To Have A Pet, Mommy Penguin takes Bebo the penguin and his friends to the pet store, where they meet a puppy, a kitty, a bunny and a goldfish before choosing a fluffy hamster.

Farm Animals lets the little penguins feed, pet and copy the sounds of horses, cows, pigs, sheep and a funny donkey. In Grandma's Song, Grandma Penguin knits Bebo a sweater, bakes chocolate chip cookies and reads him a story. Afraid Of The Dark helps Bebo see that nothing changes when the lights go out, as Mommy Penguin and Daddy Penguin turn monsters and ghosts into a shadow puppet game.

The three lullabies close the album gently. In All My Love Goes To You Lullaby and Hush A Bye My Little Light Lullaby, Mommy Penguin rocks baby Lono to sleep, and A Kiss On The Head Lullaby is about Mommy Penguin reading Mia a bedtime story and giving her a gentle kiss goodnight.
