🎵 Song Lyrics

Little penguin finally home
What a day out in the snow
He puts his sled by the door
Stacks his books on the floor

Rest now little penguin
You can close your eyes
In the cozy igloo
Sleep all through the night

He folds his scarf very well
Puts his mittens on the shelf
Turns his lantern way down low
Sees the gentle starry glow

Rest now little penguin
You can close your eyes
In the cozy igloo
Sleep all through the night

Everything is nice and neat
He gets in bed under the sheets
Puts his head on his pillow
Dreams of playing in the snow

Rest now little penguin
You can close your eyes
In the cozy igloo
Sleep all through the night

About This Song

Igloo Lullaby is a soft bedtime song about coming home and getting ready to rest after a day in the snow. Bebo the penguin pushes his red sled toward his igloo, wearing red mittens and a red and white scarf. Snow falls around him, and the moon shines above the mountains across the water. Light from the igloo doorway makes a bright path across the snow.

Bebo leaves his sled beside the door and steps inside. His wooden bed has a blue blanket covered in white snowflakes, with a lantern glowing nearby. A bookshelf stands against the curved ice walls, but several books are still scattered on the floor. He gathers them and puts them neatly away before getting ready for bed.

Next, Bebo takes off his scarf and mittens and puts them away beside the bed. He turns the lantern down, leaving a softer light inside the igloo. For a quiet moment, he looks out through the doorway at the stars and the snowy village. The day of playing outside is over, and his bed is ready for him.

With his books and winter clothes put away, Bebo climbs under the sheets. He rests his head on his blue pillow and settles beneath the snowflake blanket. His eyes close as he dreams of playing in the snow, while the lantern gives his room a gentle glow.
