Pillows In The Sky Lullaby by Leigha Marina is a soft bedtime song about baby Lono and Mommy Penguin looking up at the night sky together. Lono wonders if the big white shapes floating up high are pillows in the sky, but Mommy Penguin tells him they are clouds. Then Lono sees tiny lights twinkling in the dark, and Mommy Penguin tells him they are stars that look small because they are very far away.

🎵 Song Lyrics

Are those pillows in the sky
Big white pillows in the sky
Can you see them I'm sure gonna try
Are those pillows in the sky

In the sky
In the sky

Mommy says those aren't pillows in the sky
What could they be are they apple pies
Mommy says those aren't pillows in the sky
Those are clouds up where airplanes fly

In the sky
In the sky

What are those tiny lights in the sky
They look like little dots in the sky
Can you see them I'm sure gonna try
What are these lights in the sky

In the sky
In the sky

Mommy says those are stars in the sky
That's pretty cool little bright flies
Small in size and very far
Mommy says those are stars in the sky

In the sky
In the sky

In the sky

About This Song

Pillows In The Sky Lullaby is a soft and gentle bedtime lullaby about baby Lono and Mommy Penguin looking up at the night sky together. Lono stands in his cozy crib next to his teddy bear and soft pillows. Through the window, he sees big white shapes floating high above, and he wonders if they are pillows in the sky.

Mommy Penguin looks out the open window. Lono asks if the shapes could be apple pies, but Mommy Penguin tells him they are not pillows at all. They are clouds, floating up high where the airplanes fly.

Then Lono notices tiny lights twinkling in the dark sky. They look like little dots, and he tries his best to see them. Lono wonders what those lights could be.

As the smiling moon glows, Mommy Penguin tells Lono that those lights are stars. They look small because they are very far away. Lono thinks they look like little bright flies, and he smiles up at the stars shining in the sky.
