The Boo Boo Song

Leigha Marina Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs, Vol. 5 • Track 2 • Album released November 2, 2023

The Boo Boo Song by Leigha Marina is a playful, reassuring nursery rhyme that helps toddlers understand minor playground injuries. Through relatable activities like riding bikes, jumping rope, and swimming, the song teaches kids that while accidents like slipping or tripping happen, comforting hugs and band-aids quickly make the boo-boos go away.

🎵 Song Lyrics

I'm here I'm here
Please pass me the ball pass me the ball
Here here
Ouchy

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Playing tag is so much fun
Tripping over toys ouch is not

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Riding on my bike is so much fun
Falling to the ground ouch is not

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Swimming in the pool is so much fun
Slipping coming out ouch is not

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
I got a boo-boo

Jumping rope is so much fun
But falling to the ground ouch is not

Don't be scared
Cause it will pass
With a band aid and a hug
Boo-boo's mean you were having fun
Just be careful
Playing next time

Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Ouch a boo-boo
Already gone bye bye

Bye boo-boo

About This Song

The Boo Boo Song is a fun and upbeat song about the 5 little penguins playing hard and getting a few boo boos along the way. Inside the playroom, the little penguins pass a basketball back and forth. Okee calls for the ball, but it bounces right off his head. Ouch, a boo boo.

Next, the little penguins play tag. Playing tag is so much fun, but Bebo steps on a green toy block, trips over it and falls to the floor. Outside, Makaio rides his bike around the house. Riding a bike is so much fun, but falling to the ground is not.

Nora and Mia put on their swim goggles and go swimming in the pool. Swimming is so much fun, but they slip on the way out. Then Okee jumps rope in the grassy yard, until he falls down and lands with a bump.

The little penguins learn not to be scared, because a boo boo will pass. All it takes is a band aid and a hug. A boo boo means they were having fun, and next time they will be careful when they play. With band aids on their heads, the 5 little penguins smile and wave bye bye to their boo boos.
