About This Song

The Penguin Dance is a fun and silly dance song about Bebo the penguin and his whole family having a big dance party on the ice on a bright, sunny day. Grandpa Penguin and Grandma Penguin dance on a floating piece of ice, while Mommy Penguin holds baby Lono close and Daddy Penguin smiles beside them. Mrs. Glacier dances with them, and a polar bear and a seal wave from their own ice float.

Bebo, Okee, Makaio, Nora and Mia are ready to get a little crazy and dance like real penguins. They cheer and spell out the word penguin together, P E N G U I N, and then show off their best penguin moves.

First, they raise their arms up high and turn their feet around. Then they put their arms down and jump and jump without stopping. Next, they hold their arms close to their bodies, open their feet wide and waddle across the snow, just like real penguins do.

The little penguins show that anyone can be a penguin too, just by wearing black and white and dancing around like them. Grandparents, parents and little penguins all dance and waddle together across the ice. The party keeps going until everyone bursts out laughing.
