Leigha Marina Nursery Rhymes and Kids Songs, Vol. 11

About This Album

The first four songs follow the little penguins through all kinds of days. Waddle Like a Penguin gets everyone moving, with waddling like penguins, hopping like bunnies and spinning like monkeys. The Penguin Dance brings the whole penguin family onto the ice, from the grandparents to the baby, for a party with a pengu pengu chant and letters to spell along. Rainy Day shows the penguins stuck inside, wishing they could splash in puddles and ride their bikes. In No Care in The World, they grab their sunglasses and water shoes for sandcastles, cold lemonade and ice cream on the boardwalk.

Each lullaby tells a small story. In Adventure in the Arctic Lullaby, a little penguin slides across the snow to wish his friends goodnight, playing with a fox, sharing a meal with a seal and drinking hot cocoa with a polar bear under the northern lights. The Princesses Lullaby is a bedtime story inside a song, as Mommy Penguin tells her two daughters about an ice princess whose castle melts in summer and the sand castle princess who becomes her friend. ABC Dream With Me Lullaby floats through the night sky past twinkling lights and fluffy marshmallow clouds, with letters and numbers along the way.
