🎵 Song Lyrics

Good morning kids
Time to get ready for school

I'm so sleepy
I think I'm ready mom

Oh, haha, that's not how we get ready in the morning
You've got to do it the right way

Oh, easy peasy
Sure mom
The right way

You just need to pay attention
And remember the steps

Oh ok

You've just got to do it the right way
You've got to do it the right way
You've got to do it the right way
For things to come out well

First you need to go wash your face
To open your eyes and be wide awake

Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
For things to come out well

Then you must go and brush your teeth
Put on some toothpaste and get them clean

We've got to do it the right
We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
For things to come out well

Now you must go and brush your hair
Nice and straight or a ponytail

Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
For things to come out well

Now you must go and start to get dressed
Just in orderso we don't make a mess

We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
For things to come out well

Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
For things to come out well

Breakfast is ready for you to eat
Super important this yummy meal

Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
Ra ra ra ra the right way
For things to come out well

Pack your backpack and grab your coat
Put them on and we are ready to go

We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
For things to come out well

We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
We've got to do it the right way
For things to come out well

About This Song

The Right Way is a fun and upbeat song about Mommy Penguin helping the 5 little penguins get ready for school the right way. The little penguins are sound asleep in their beds when Mommy Penguin comes in to say good morning. It is time to get ready for school.

The little penguins are still so sleepy. They hurry out and tell Mommy Penguin they are ready, but they are not ready at all. Mommy Penguin laughs and shows them how to get ready the right way. They just need to pay attention and remember each step.

First, the little penguins go to the bathroom and wash their faces with water, so their eyes open wide and they are wide awake. Next, Okee, Bebo and Nora brush their teeth with toothpaste until they are nice and clean. Then they brush their hair, nice and straight or in a ponytail.

Now it is time to get dressed, in the right order so they do not make a mess. Breakfast is ready, and the little penguins sit together at the table to eat this super important meal. They pack their backpacks, grab their coats and walk out the door. The little penguins climb onto the yellow school bus and ride off to school.
