About This Album

The playtime songs on this album mix small life lessons with silly fun. In Little Penguin Tells a Lie, a little penguin makes up stories about a fish that flies and a shark on roller skates. When he finds a great new place to swim, his friends will not believe him, so he says sorry and learns why telling the truth matters. Band Aids Hugs and Kisses is for little bumps and scrapes, as Mom, Grandpa and friends take care of a small scratch so he can get back to playing in the snow. The ABC Song spells out the alphabet with letters carved out of ice. The Never Ending Song is a classroom joke that starts over every time a new classmate walks in, while the teacher slowly runs out of patience.

The three lullabies are slow and gentle. Sweet Child of Mine Lullaby has Mommy Penguin swaying her baby boy under twinkling stars and falling snow. In Until You Yawn Lullaby, Daddy Penguin carries baby Bebo on his back through a snowy village and over quiet hills. Baby's Dream Lullaby follows a little penguin into a dream full of butterflies, talking teddy bears and baby bunnies singing under the moonbeams.
